Lee Turner
Member of the Advisory Board
Lee Turner – based in Houston, Texas – serves as an Advisory Board member for Digitech Excellence Solutions LLC, leveraging a wealth of global experience from senior leadership roles at Schlumberger, Saxon Energy, M-I SWACO, and Smith International, where he was Senior Vice President of QHSE. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines. Over the course of his 40-year career in the oil and gas industry, Lee has lived and worked in eight countries outside the United States, including three years in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. His expertise spans executive leadership, marketing, corporate management systems, and Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environment (QHSE). Lee brings deep strategic insight and industry knowledge, adding exceptional value to both the company and the broader energy sector.
Angela Smith

Angela Smith is a versatile oil and gas executive with over 20 years of industry experience. Her career includes key leadership roles such as CWI Learning Advisor at Shell International in Rijswijk and Performance Improvement Team Leader at the UWB, PDO eDTL Center. She currently serves as Managing Wells Intervention at North Caspian Operating Company NV (NCOC NV) and as an Honorary Advisor to Digitech Excellence Solutions.
Renowned for her multi-disciplinary expertise and strategic leadership, Angela has made significant contributions to operational excellence and performance improvement throughout her career, leaving a lasting impact on the global energy sector.
Major General Khalid Binshaiq

His Excellency Major General Khalid Binshaiq brings distinguished leadership and strategic depth to DigiTech Excellence Solutions as a Member of the Advisory Board. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Star Corp., where he has successfully driven the company’s expansion into high-value industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects for government and corporate clients across Saudi Arabia and international markets. Under his stewardship, Crystal Star has evolved into a trusted partner for complex turnkey solutions, with a strong and diversified portfolio spanning power, water, mining, and large-scale services.
With decades of senior military and national healthcare leadership experience, Major General Khalid has a proven record of building high-performing executive teams, instituting robust governance and performance frameworks, and enhancing operational efficiency across multi-sector organisations. His career highlights include overseeing multimillion-riyal programs, forging strategic alliances with regional and global partners, and delivering sustainable growth in highly regulated, technically demanding, and security-sensitive environments.
Asghar Sajjad
Member of the Advisory Board
Asghar Sajjad, Chairman of the Board and Group Leader for Petroleum Engineering Consultants Group, brings five decades of expertise in the oil and gas industry. His extensive skill set spans field management, production engineering, safety and security, customer relations, sales and marketing, recruitment and training, and team supervision. Over his career, he has contributed to major oil and gas operations in both Pakistan and the United States. Passionate about sharing knowledge, Asghar is dedicated to mentoring young professionals and students—an effort widely respected and valued by both industry peers and academic circles. He currently serves as one of the Senior Petroleum Engineering Advisors at Digitech Excellence Solutions, operating from the Houston office
Dr.Iftikhar Sabir
Member of the Advisory Board
A recognised pioneer in the application of uniquely coded synthetic DNA tracing techniques for tracking groundwater contaminants, Dr. Sabir brings exceptional technical depth to his role as a Board Member and Advisory Board contributor at Digitech Excellence Solutions.
He holds a Ph.D. in Hydrogeology from Norway and has extensive expertise in advanced modeling, database systems, and hydrogeological analysis. Throughout his career, Dr. Sabir has led numerous projects in groundwater resource evaluation, environmental impact assessment, and water quality and quantity management. His work spans climate change impacts on hydrological systems, groundwater flow, and contaminant transport, with significant involvement in water-related initiatives for oilfield operations and regional resource management.
Currently, Dr. Sabir’s research focuses on advancing innovative methods for the remediation of impacted groundwater, contributing to sustainable and resilient water resource solutions.

Umar Naveed is a seasoned oil & gas industry leader with over 18 years of international experience spanning MENA, North America, and Asia. Currently serving as Executive Director – Digital & Performance Drilling at DigiTech Excellence Solutions, Umar has built a distinguished career driving digital transformation, operational excellence, and strategic growth in drilling and energy sectors.
